At Tarheel Solid Surfaces, we fabricate and install countertops specially designed for kitchens and baths, commercial offices, hospitality and retail environments, and for boats or other recreational vehicles.
Owner Earl Lee first established himself in the solid surfaces business in 1987 with Tarheel Wood Designs, a custom cabinetry and solid surface shop local to Wilmington. He served clients all throughout eastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina, working hard to make a name for himself as the guy for solid surfaces in these coastal states.
After two years in business, Earl recognized a need for a DuPont Corian wholesale fabricator in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. He started Tarheel Solid Surfaces to fill the needs of residential and commercial contractors alike, and offering unique countertop solutions with exceptional customer service is still our company’s focus today.
Tarheel Solid Surfaces provides only the highest quality craftsmanship and professionalism in the residential, commercial, RV, and marine markets. Assisting builders with state-of-the-art solutions has helped our company maintain a strong, loyal clientele for many years. Our craftsmen are local family men who’ve made a reputation for being dependable, on-time, efficient, and clean workers.
Our 15 year relationship with Grady White Boats, a prestigious boat builder that uses only the finest materials, is a testament to the way we value business relationships. Like with Grady White Boats, Tarheel Solid Surfaces is ready to provide you with custom production of solid products to fit your needs.
